This 3-part workshop will help you slow down, tune in and experience listening as an act of care, social connection and stress reduction. Learn to slow down the reactions of the mind that make us jumpy, distracted or interruptive, learn to tune in to this moment as it is, grounded and simplified, and learn and practice listening as an offering to self and to all we encounter. Listening is a gift we can give and it gets better with practice.

Day 01 / The Body: Listening and hearing
Part one introduces mindful listening; listening just to listen. We learn to make the sounds around us into anchors of presence and maybe even objects of wonder.

Day 02 / The mind: listening to self
Part two, we practice listening to the self. We listen to the inner voice, and the various ways of knowing that arise through the body. We practice listening to what muscles and breath say and to the many parts that comprise us. The self loves to be heard.

Day 03 /The spirit: Listening to others
Part three has us practice listening to others. Anchored in the present, aware of our own internal messages, we can be quiet enough to really hear who we are listening to. This takes practice but is guaranteed to improve every important relationship in your life.
Course structure
This is a three-day, virtual event designed to give you time to slow down, tune into your bodies and minds, and cultivate new capacities to be present and listen; which often reveals an easier way to respond to a moment than whatever our habits would have us do.
